Resurrection

I am away near Diss (that second “s” is so important). Meanwhile, here is the Resurrection, by Luca Giordano. If anyone does not get the point of pictures of Christ’s descent from the Cross followed by pictures of the Resurrection, please do ask.

    • I did not go off the field. It was a weekend for appreciating beautiful people, relaxed conversation, good food. Our hostess is an artist, and I loved one particular bronze head: so much could be seen in its expression. Then driving home, we passed two traction engines on flat-bed lorries, and Dick remarked what a life it must be to own one, and spend your time going round fairs showing them off.
